It’s nearly Christmas and my prodigal son has returned home to the nest from college to spend time with family. I miss College Boy terribly and having him home, having all three of my children together under my roof for the holidays is the best gift ever. All the chocolate diamonds in the world cannot compare, my heart is whole and content.
Tonight, I had to chuckle when I pulled his laundry out of the dryer. His “whites” are all the identical shade of “college boy grey”. I think while he is home this time I will introduce him to that old magical, miracle concoction known as bleach…
OK, this I found hysterical being the mother of a college daughter who asked me is I had done laundry yet, she was out of stuff. UM...almost 20 (less than 2 weeks, sniff) and she was asked what she does at school when she is out of clothes! LOL Easy to fall back to the comforts of home I suspect. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLol, I know what you mean, C! Not long after College Boy got home he said to me "mom, I really need clean jeans...". My first thought was "Uh...are your arms broke??" LOL! He knows that I prefer full loads for energy conservation so I would do them for him anyway - and I did. =)
